INphoton Scientific Project Director
INphoton, a dynamic new enterprise delivering innovative, real-time live imaging methodologies to support our
clients in preclinical drug development, seeks a Scientific Project Director to provide scientific direction and
coordination for client-initiated studies. Reporting directly to INphoton’s CEO, responsibilities include:
- Representing INphoton at showcase events and conducting preliminary discussions with clients to assess client
interest/applicability of INphoton services.
- Coordinating with INphoton senior scientific staff and client representatives to design scope of studies.
- Developing preliminary budgets for projects.
- Assisting with preparation of project proposals for clients.
- Recruiting and supervising technical staff to conduct imaging studies and related scientific activities.
- Coordinating timeline with client based on client internal time constraints and reagent availability and INphoton
internal time constraints.
- Managing day-to-day activities for studies, assist technical staff with troubleshooting and data analysis.
- Organizing data, preparing preliminary draft of project report.
- Assisting in reviewing data with client at final project debrief.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree and at least 2-3 years of postdoctoral experience, or equivalent experience in conducting and directing research in biomedical science. Extensive experience in fluorescence microscopy is strongly preferred.
